In 1956, Leonard Woodruff and Jack Evans founded Woodruff-Evans Construction, a general contracting firm that served Fort Dodge, Iowa and the surrounding communities. Since opening its doors, Woodruff has continued to grow as a result of its client relationships, skilled employees, safety culture, and best practices. Currently Woodruff has five office locations spread across Iowa to best serve our clients.
We still embrace Leonard’s entrepreneurial spirit that founded Woodruff over six decades ago. 2021 marks sixty-five years of leadership through two generations of the Woodruff family, and company ownership is now shared by all our employee-owners. Woodruff Construction’s history is the groundwork that continues to underline our progressive culture.
