The project included comprehensive improvements to the Water Pollution Control Plant and Southwest Pump Station. At the Water Pollution Control Plant, work included installation of a new backup power generator, construction of a new sludge storage tank and sludge loadout system, replacement of sludge pumps, and cleanout and rehabilitation of the existing digester tank and cover. Additional improvements included upgrades to the raw sampler mixing system, equalization tank level monitoring, final clarifier scum gate actuators, and plant PLC system.
Site improvements included piping, grading, paving, sidewalks, seeding, and associated general construction, along with electrical power and controls system upgrades.
At the Southwest Pump Station, the project included demolition and replacement of existing pumps, piping, valves, and associated equipment, as well as electrical power and controls system improvements.
